The 2012 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure is just around the corner and qualifying satellites are now being offered. The Main Event will take place at the Atlantis Resort, which is on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. If you’re not familiar with Atlantis, it’s widely known as one of the top resorts in the world. Not only is it located on the beach, but the restaurants and attractions are the best you will find at any resort in the world. One standout feature is the water slide that takes you underwater and amongst sharks. This is the only poker tournament in the world where you can have as much fun off the table as on the table. The dates for the Main Event are January 7-13. If you qualify, you won’t only receive free entry to the main event, but accommodations as well.

Another big selling point for the 2012 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure is that it offers the biggest payout for any live poker tournament in the world. Last year in 2011, Galen Hall won $2.3 million. That being the case, not only will you be able to enjoy the resort and have an opportunity to play amongst the biggest names in poker, but you will also have a shot at becoming a millionaire. That’s the perfect way to start your year.

The Main Event isn’t the only poker tournament at the 2012 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. While there are over a dozen events to choose from, the ones that payout the most are the High Roller and Super High Roller tournaments. These cost more to get into, but the payouts are big and there aren’t nearly as many competitors as the Main Event, which had 1,560 players last year. The buy-in for the High Roller tournament is $25,000 and the payout is expected to be close to $1 million. The buy-in for the Super High Roller tournament is $100,000 and the payout is expected to be around $1.5 million.

The following people saw their lives changed for the better after playing in the 2011 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure: Galen Hall and Eugene Katchalov. They both won over $1 million and can now play as much poker as they want – whenever they want. Wouldn’t you love to have that lifestyle?

PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) 2012 satellites are running now on PokerStars.
