Partypoker enhances players’ experience on Twitch

Partypoker has signed a partnership with Sport Buff, the company leading next generation fan engagement fan engagement and gamification for broadcast and media applications, to allow its players to better interact with live Twitch streams and play. Under the terms of the agreement, Sport Buff will collaborate with the room to “enhance the viewing experience on partypokerTV and its Twitch channel across English, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian broadcasts.
The partnership will enhance players’ experience and help partypoker build its community on Twitch as Sport Buff’s video overlay delivers fully interactive and engaging gamification experiences, driving retention and education of the audience and delivering real-time engagement. Predictions, polls, trivia, fun facts, notifications and even emoji sliders and raters will be added to the broadcast, with features being initially launch on desktop only, before being expanded soon to mobile devices.
“Partypoker’s commitment to building a community for poker fans on Twitch by creating unique, interactive streams aligns well with Sport Buff’s mission to provide fans with an engaging, next-generation experience”, said Gaston Catzman, the room’s Twitch Manager. “We’re excited to partner with partypoker to power their poker broadcasts with our next-generation gamification platform. Together, we are going to change the way that people watch and consume live poker competitions, by driving real-time interaction between the broadcast and the audience.
