PokerStars has announced the launch of PokerStars Open, a brand-new poker series that will bring existing national tour events across Europe together under one banner for 2025. The new PokerStars Open will carry forward elements of former UKIPT, EUREKA, ESTRELLAS and FPS events, offering big guarantees, accessible buy-ins, packed schedules, and a whole lot of mischief off the tables.

The PokerStars Open will comprise of six standalone stops, including three brand new locations, and two Open Main Events at EPT Monte Carlo and EPT Barcelona. Held at established partner casinos, players will be able to enjoy the full PokerStars experience throughout the year with highlights including industry-leading dealers and staff, seamless registration processes, unmissable player activities and a detailed Live app giving players the ability to track and view tournament data efficiently.

PokerStars Open Campione will open the festivities from March 10 - 16, 2025 at PokerStars’ brand-new Casino di Campione poker room located on the shores of Lake Lugano in Como. Each stop will feature a wide range of online satellites, offering more players the chance to qualify, with Campione satellites starting on December 19. To find out more information on qualifying routes, players can visit the PokerStars client. This first event will be followed by the Irish Open (April 10 - 21), which will return to the Royal Dublin Society. The PokerStars Open will then head to Belgium (May 28 – June 9) at Circus Casino Resort in Namur, Spain (June 16 – 22) at the Gran Madrid Casino Torrequebrada in Madrid, England (October 20 – 26) at the Casino Machester235 in Manchester before finishing in France (December 8 – 14) at the Casino Barrière La Croisette in Cannes.

“PokerStars is thrilled to introduce a new series of events to the European poker calendar. Our PokerStars Open events will offer players accessible exceptional experiences, with each venue providing a distinct atmosphere that contributes to a cohesive European series, complementing the European Poker Tour while also standing out on their own,” said Cédric Billot, Associate Director of Live Events Operations at PokerStars. "We understand that players love to travel for tournaments, so we've expanded to the PokerStars Open format. This allows us greater flexibility to host million-guaranteed events across Europe, beyond just our traditional national tour locations."
