Shortly after being awarded three licenses by the Nevada Gaming Commission, online gaming entertainment and solution provider 888 has signed a deal that will see the company provide Caesars Interactive Entertainment Inc. with the live coverage of the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) and WSOP Asia-Pacific tournaments.
Under the terms of the agreement, 888 is going to broadcast real-time coverage via its 888Poker.tv domain of all bracelet events from the WSOP Asia-Pacific, along with live reporting on the series’ Americas vs Europe vs Asia-Pacific Caesars Cup and $50,000 High Roller competitions. The agreement also includes the WSOP Europe, which will take place in Paris in October. 888 also intends to run several online promotions and tournaments offering players an opportunity to feature alongside Team 888Poker ambassadors Shane Warne, Sam Holden, Jesse Sylvia, Jake Balsiger and Russel Thomas.
